In this tutorial, we'll show how to transform an ordinary dollar sign into a gold effect dollar symbol.Step-By-Step Instructions:1. Open a new document in Photoshop. Set height to 200px and width to 175px.2. Select the Type tool and type out your Dollar Sign in the font that you desire. In this tutorial, I went with a bold Arial font.

3. Right click the Type layer in the layers palette. Choose "Blending Options" from the pop-up list.4. Set the properties for "Drop Shadow" to the following:
